See Me, Hear Me
February 15, 2022
A few days ago, I was privileged to speak to a group at the Sausalito Books By The Bay bookstore. I was asked to speak despite the fact that I don’t yet have a book to promote.
So now, for the first time on this site, I have a video to share and show all of you. Instead of reading, you can now see me, and hear me
The most precious non renewable resource is time. So thank you for using some of your time to watch

Great talk, Freddie. I could see it being a TED presentation. In a way I’m glad I wasn’t there because I would’ve missed every song reference! But if I had been there, I might have pointed out–though it sounds like many people there know you–that Fred(die) is just the same in everyday life as he portrays in that speech. In other words, no pretenses, no falseness, no trying to impress…”What you see is what you get:” an overused Flip Wilson line but genuine in this case. By the way, I already have your book since I’ve saved every Spinning Rabbi “blog” So since I don’t want to wait until 2032, sometime perhaps you could autograph my laptop… Thanks so much for sending me the video and most of all, for being a lovable friend, Freddie, for nearly 50 years now.
Thank You so so much Michael You have brought tears to my eyes
An truly inspirational talk. I hope that you will have more recordings for us in the future. What about podcasts?
