What sets your mood?

June 29, 2011

Does a rainy day set your mood? Does a rejection or acceptance, perceived or real set your mood? In other words, is it external validation that you require? If we begin each day by being thankful and grateful for the gift of life and all its possibilities, we will curtail the need for external validation. Throughout the day if we remind ourselves that the gift is given for us to use all of our possibilities for the benefit of many we will have all the validation we need. This is especially true when we utilize those possibilities.

“One who desires the attention of others, has not yet found himself”. – Rabbi Shlomo Wolfe
