Looking Up
As we are coming to the end of an extraordinarily challenging year and preparing for another new year, here is a true story to help keep you looking up.
This is a story of a young boy whose approach to life, even as a young boy, is a lesson for us all.
One day, his Grandfather took him to a playground. The young boy went to play on a ladder like structure that several other young boys were playing on. The Grandfather noticed that none of the boys made it to the top, except his Grandson. The boys would get partially up, hesitate, and then come down. His Grandson just went straight up with no hesitation.
The Grandfather asked his Grandson, “How come you were the only one of the boys to make it all the way up?”. The Grandson answered, “When all the other boys were going up, they kept looking down. When they did, they saw how high they were and got scared. When I climbed, I kept looking up and saw how low I was and that motivated me to keep climbing”.
Keep climbing your mountain always looking towards the top. Look up, ahead, and forward
May you have Healthy and Happy Holidays
Be Good Do Good Think Good Be Healthy
Well, that is quite literally climbing the mountain, or ladder, should I say. There are a lot of life lessons, or metaphors, to be learned from the universe, if you’re paying attention.
You’re o right
We all have a personal GPS to give us directions if hear, pay attention, see, and listen
