“I Believe I Can Fly”

March 27, 2012

When man dreamed of flying, the conventional wisdom was that a vehicle lighter than air had to be created. As it turned out the vehicle that flies is not lighter than air, but one that uses the air’s resistance.

Life in all that it presents to us, presents resistance. It is from that resistance that we learn, grow, and get stronger. If we lift weights in order to get stronger, we lift heavy weights. If we accept and actually welcome that resistance, we will be able to sooner reach our dreams, goals, and purpose. We will be able to fly.
